HY-Tech was founded in 1982 by Drs. Edward J. Yadlowsky and Robert C. Hazelton. HY-Tech is a small, R&D oriented company in the southwestern part of Virginia, specializing in plasma science and technology.

HY-Tech is located in a purpose built, 9500 Square foot facility. This includes 6000sq. ft. of lab space as well as a machine shop and chemical laboratory space.
